Amuse is a free music distribution platform for everyone. They are continuing to redefine the music industry by launching a new data-driven service called Fast Forward.
By leveraging Amuse’s vast access to music consumption intelligence, Fast Forward lets emerging and DIY artists collect to up to six months of their future royalties. The service enables artists to accelerate their careers while still retaining the rights to their music.
What’s Fast Forward?
Fast Forward uses machine learning to project an artist’s future royalties. The company has access to music consumption data generated through their distribution service. Amuse’s system can automatically analyze billions of data points. Fast forward can determine future royalties and it’s seamlessly integrated into their app.
Artists that are eligible for Fast Forward will have the option to view and withdraw these future royalties in through their mobile phones.
Amuse empowers musicians to be independent.
“Labels have historically used advances to sign artists to long-term deals. We are now using advances to help artists remain independent. Leveraging our data-driven approach, Fast Forward allows for quicker payments for artists that want to stay in control. It’s an opportunity for us to extend our label’s huge benefits to unsigned artists and independent managements as well,” said Andreas Ahlenius, co-founder and Label Director, Amuse.
This technology is a great solution for musicians when it comes to delayed payment of royalties. Amuse is empowering artists to help them catch momentum when it arises.
That means they can invest the money back into their music whether it’s to fund a tour, create a video, buy new equipment, or market their music.
