What is it:
Hygglo is an app that enables people to rent items from other owners. Users can choose to rent out their own items as well. It helps people act more sustainably by discouraging consumerism.
How it works:
The users must register to the app using their mobile bank ID. From there, the users can browse through the app’s available items. Users can pick from a wide range of items, from home items, party items or leisure items. Once an item is selected, they can add how many days and which dates they would like to borrow the item.
The payment for the rental is done through the app and the payment will only be released to the owner once the transaction is complete. Every item is covered by insurance and it gives owners and renters an extra layer of security.
Finally, if the user wants to know more about the item they want to rent or to ask any other information, they can use the app’s chat feature to communicate with the owner. According to Hygglo user usually, replies within 15 minutes.
