DiGital has reported that Uber is looking into the possibility of acquiring a major player in the electric vehicle industry.
They have been talking with Bird an electric vehicle manufacturer about a buy-in. The deal will potentially be worth several billion dollars. They have also held meetings with Lime, an electric scooter sharing business. Lime has recently launched their services in Stockholm and challenges Sweden’s Voi.
Ther are yet to be news of any formal decisions about the acquisition.
