What is it: BriXtar is a social networking app made for LEGO lovers. It brings the most creative builders together by creating an online community where people can like, comment, and follow other builders.
How it works: On BriXtar, users can post photos of their own LEGO creations. Found a figure you’d like to recreate? Learn how to do it by using BriXtar. Using the digital tool allows users to move the figure to different angles, zoom in and out, select the number of bricks added to the figure per move and the pace of the instructional video.
Users can upload their own instructional video to the app. By recreating their figure digitally and uploading the 3D instructions on their profile.
Best for: Parents who would like to spend time with their kids through building and AFOLs (Adult Fans of Lego) who enjoys sharing their creations with other fans.
Value Offering: Creativity meets sustainability. In BriXtar users can add their LEGO set to the app and BriXtar will recommend figures that the user can build with the sets they have. Spend hours building different things without buying a new set of LEGOs. Users can also purchase a BriXtar set which they can use on its own or could be used to compliment LEGO bricks that they already own.
Hype Level: BriXtar is a company from Umeå and they have recently moved to Stockholm and their office is now at SUP46. Recently, they’ve been invited by Facebook at the Facebook Campus in Menlo Park, CA for their Global LEGO event. In 2017, BriXtar received an investment from Olympic gold medallist, Stephan Holm.
