You heard it all – that there’s always an app for everything. From helping to settle down in a new country to make your home smarter, smartphones today have become the Swiss army knives of the past. Today at Swedish App Scene, we introduce to you 4 Swedish applications to help with your money: accounting, management of money, sticking to budgets, and investment plans.
Kvittar allows you to take pictures of your receipts and upload them onto your phone. Having done so, you can leave comments and find them more easily than usual. This helps to track your expenses more easily. If you shop in stores that offer Kvittar, you can get your receipts to the mobile phone (see list on kvittar.com).
After uploading your receipts, you can choose them to be put on an expense report. The report will be automatically created and saved. This technology might be simple and easy to understand, but the time it helps us to save can be paramount as it compounds over time!
Unlike Kvittar, Storebox is an app that helps you to get your receipts digitally. Each time you pay with your debit card, you will receive a digital receipt within a few seconds. Should you change a product, use your warranty, keep track of your finances or spend a budget? Everything suddenly becomes much easier with Storebox. The catch? You can only use it in the established stores under them. However, there are already more than 5,000 stores in place, such as Carls Jr, TOYS ‘R’ US, Starbucks and counting!
Tink is a free private finance app that helps you keep track of your money. You simply connect your cards and banks to Tink so the data is secured. Next, Tink automatically categorizes and analyzes your spending continuously over time. The machine learning algorithm will take some time to effectively categorize your purchases, but you can also edit them manually to hasten the process.
Spira comes in as a platform to help users to invest in the stocks without the complexities of the stock market. With no experience needed, users get to invest in some of Sweden’s largest family companies. Your deposit is spread out on Stockholm Stock Exchange’s largest investment company which then provides the opportunity to get a return on your savings money.
In today’s world where apps are aplenty, you can get by with a single app optimised for your taste in music or maps. However, when it comes to money, no one can do. Be it splitting bills at a restaurant, recording your receipts, getting an overview of your net worth or even growing your wealth, what can I say but… there’s always an app for everything. 😉
