Bzzt is one of the most sustainable modes of transportation in Stockholm. People can book pod taxis through their app. It is a cheaper, faster and an eco-friendly way to get around the city.
Currently, Bzzt’s pod taxis are classified as EU mopeds and due to this classification according to the traffic laws they are not allowed to use Stockholm’s public transport lanes. If permitted to use these public transport lanes their pod taxis can reach their customer’s destination faster.
Bzzt has reached out to the city of Stockholm to ask for adjustments to be made. During these conversations, they have received support but no changes were made.
That is why starting today, Bzzt will be driving into these public transport lanes from 11:00 to 14:00 everywhere in the city.
They hope to be caught by authorities because they believe that this is the best way for the city of Stockholm to notice them and to implement the changes they hope for.
