What is it: Vinden is an app that helps people with storing their things and aids with moving them. The app takes pride in only charging their customers for the space they use. For 199 SEK per cubic meter per month, users can store their items, each transport costs 99 SEK and users can hire carrying support for 400 SEK per hour.
How it works: Register using your email and connect your credit card to the app. In the app users can add items that they would like to be stored. Aside from the type of item, Vinden lets the users input the item’s measurements and automatically calculates the cost per month of storage. After finalizing which items would be stored users can schedule the date and time they would like their items to be picked up.
With Viden users will be able to see what they have in storage. This feature helps users to easily recall the items they have placed in storage without going to the storage warehouse.
It’s also important to know that the app is only available in Swedish.
Best for: People whose office or home needs to declutter or clear up space either by storing their items, donating them or selling them. The app can also be used by people who are moving to new homes.
Value Offering: If the user decides that they would like to reuse their items Viden can also deliver the items back to its owner. The app also assists the users to donate their items or to sell the items and Viden will get 3% of the selling price.
