BookBeat‘s revenue has increased by 97% in the third quarter of 2018 compared to the third quarter of 2017. There has been an increase in the number of paying customers from the app’s main markets – Sweden and Finland over June, July, and August.
By the end of May 2018, BookBeat has gained an additional 26,000 users in Sweden and an additional 17,000 in Finland. By the end of July, BookBeat had more than 100,000 paying users in all their markets.
Aside from this, BookBeat has had a soft launch in Germany. According to Niclas Sandin, CEO BookBeat they have received positive results in Germany such as higher average listening and loyalty from their first thousand German users. With these results, BookBeat will be increasing their investment in the German market next year.
